Who is: Afrojack

Afrojack has been tearing up the scene since he first started in the DJ industry. There is nothing this person loved more than music and it continues to ring true. When he was 5 years old, he picked up the piano. His variety and backround which is packed with experience, has been guided through many types of music. When his passion grew to a certain level, he became a dj and started turning tables and has never looked back.

Afrojack has been in this industry ever since he was a little child. At the age of eleven he got a program called fruity loops. This marked the first stat where his passion turned into some creative potential. Ever since he found this program, he hasn't touched another piece of equipment. Even to this day, he is still using the fruity loops. Afrojack was in school at the time when his passion continued to grow and he graduated. After he graduated he thought that it was time to bring his passion to life by playing at bars part-time and helping people raise their level of enjoyment. Due to the free time that he had now that he was working at bars and catering making a living, he decided to expand into the club market. He began tearing into the scene at clubs in Amsterdam. At the age of 16 , he started clubbing and gaining experience about the music and the way that it touched the people's hearts.

Now that he is a grown man in 2006 he made his way to Greece. He got a job deejaying where he did it full time for a local club in Crete. He did this as much as he could until the club would no longer have em, fortunately for him, he was good at it. Crete marked the first big accomplishment that he had made. It was called "F*ck Detroit. After this he was amazed at what he had accomplished and began to test his boundaries even further. Trying new mixes and new collaborations that would equal what happened to him in that place. He was determined to get a label and he did. Afrojack was numbered 60 on the top 100 charts in the dutch playlist. This marked one of the world's top lists to get onto and he did it. This was all before the age of 18.

With all of this experience under his belt, he has now moved onto the scene and started turning some heads. With his most recent release of the single 'Take Over Control' has over 19 million views on you tube. Youtube and clubs this single has completely taken over the scene being the top hits that is the "go to track" at most of the clubs. Moving into 2011 he was recently awarded a grammy for doing some mix work with Madonna's 'revolver' song where he worked hand in hand with david guetta.

Afrojack continues to grow and build a business and live the lifestyle of a professional DJ. At such a young age he is determined to be the best in the world.
