This DJ was from a town called Jackson Heights in Queens. His full name if Robert Aguilar which has now changed to swift. His influence into djing came from looking at his elders. His father and his brother were both strong supporters of Djing, in fact they were both dj's themselves. Mostly focusing on Salsa and merengue, their interest must have had an impact on this young man. When Robert entered the 6th grade he made a decision that Djing was going to be a part of his future. His future influence was created by his close relatives and loved ones. Rob was not like other boys who learn from DMC and NMS however, their influence and interests were the same. To create amazing music as a DJ, As he continued to grow up he went after a college education and enrolled into Baruch College. He did graduate and took away a degree in psychology to look forward to his bright future. Although many would question the choice in the course of education, he stands firm and gives credit to his ability to use his mind to create new techniques that have not been seen in the world today.
In 2008 rob swift was invited to a hip hop venue where he could display his talents. For years he was performing at various outposts and events across the world. He has made music with such world renowned groups as the blue man group, bob james, Good charlotte, Linkin park and Herbie hancock. While some artists rest at this point he went on even further and decided to work on new brands of music that would touch the world.
Rob swift is currently working with himself and his producers in order to create a new sound that is made for the upcoming generation. These sounds are specifically Rob swift material and his future is looking bright. With all of the experience behind his belt, he is destined for the top.
